[Important Notice] Termination of WorldDyne

Notes on Usage

  • Free member registration is required to use our service.
  • In case you utilise International SMS by PC mail, you need to register your desired PC mail address from your mobile phone which you registered WorldDyne service.
  • You can enter up to 160 one-byte alphanumeric characters or 70 Japanese two-byte characters per message and transmit the 32 symbols below in most cases. (Exceptions: South Korea, China Unicom, Brazil, etc.) If there are over 160 characters in a message, it will be divided by every 160 characters and sent as separate messages. Please note that in this case additional points will be deducted according to the number of messages transmitted.
  • In case of writing messages in mixture of one-byte and two byte characters, all characters are counted as two-byte characters and maximum letter becomes 70 characters.
  • When you send SMS messages in two-byte characters, recipients may receive a SMS with unreadable characters. This may be caused since two-byte characters are not supported by overseas mobile carriers and cellphones.
  • The 32 symbols below are transmittable in most cases:
    ! ”# $ % & '( ) * + , - . / : ; < - > ? @ [ \ ] ^ _ ` { | } ~
Please note some symbols may not be displayable depending on overseas service provider or the recipient's mobile phone.
  • Points may be deducted even if you send a message to a phone number that is not being used abroad. Please confirm the number before transmission.
  • When you receive SMS messages from overseas, you may receive a SMS with unreadable characters. This may be caused since some foreign characters become unreadable due to limitation of mail functions in your mobile phones.
  • SMS subject lines are not supported. The characters entered will be ignored and will not reach the recipient.
  • If you change your e-mail address, you will not be able to use WorldDyne services because your email address will not match with the one you registered, and will not be authenticated. In addition, you will not be able to receive International SMS delivered from abroad until you complete WorldDyne's change of email address procedures.
  • Because of the nature of communications services, there is a possibility that the delivery of SMS messages may be delayed or unsuccessful on account of failed communications systems or networks in or outside of Japan, or the status of the recipient's phone (e.g. outside service area, power off, full inbox, and so on). We ask for your understanding in this matter when you use our service.
  • When text messages are undeliverable resulting from the recipient's phone having no service, being powered off, having a full inbox, the amount of time for which they are preserved or resent depends on the settings of the overseas service provider.
  • Please inquire with the overseas service provider when the message cannot be properly sent and delivered overseas.
  • Packet charges and data communication charges, which are required for sending and receiving e-mails, will be billed separately by your mobile carrier and/or ISPs in accordance with the billing plan you signed up for.
  • If you use NTT docomo FOMA, Softbank or EMOBILE, there may be cases in which your message is delivered through a Japanese mobile service provider's network.
In the case that SMS cannot be delivered correctly, please inquire with the appropriate mobile service provider.
However, even if messages are delivered through a Japanese provider, it is still possible to send international SMS messages if that carrier is covered by WorldDyne.
  • Please see the notes on the appropriate subject regarding Japan-China Mobile Messaging for sending and receiving International SMS to China, and SMS gift for SMART for giving International SMS to SMART users in the Philippines.
